What is the Laser Matrix?

The Laser Matrix in Greenock is the ultimate Laser Tag Arena, for exciting, fast paced and fun Laser Tag Parties for the young and old in the UK’s largest multi level laser tag arena.

Laser tag is a game very similar to paintball, but played with a laser gun (called the Phaser) and a vest with sensors.

Depending on the chosen mission, the objectives of the game can be quite different – 2 teams playing against each other to control the arena or defend their corner, or play as a solo fighter and try to eliminate as many opponents as possible.

Laser tag games are fast, exciting, challenging and fun entertainment for players of all ages and experience. It is absolutely safe and therefore perfectly suited for kids, but it is still challenging and exciting enough to be great entertainment for adults too.

You can make your own decisions how you want your laser combat game to be played – just for fun, running around trying to outplay and eliminate everybody else, or sign up for a specific mission.

If you want to make it a little more challenging, then Laser Combats are best played in 2 opposing groups, which allows for a more strategic approach to the game. Having to work together in a group to achieve victory also requires additional skills such as communication, organisation and improvisation, which makes Laser Tag ideal for corporate events or team building/bonding sessions.
